Terms and Conditions for DS2 ACTFIT Locker Rentals

By renting a locker from DS2 ACTFIT, you ("the User") agree to be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before completing your transaction.

1. Scope of Service

DS2 ACTFIT provides short-term storage lockers for personal use. The rental agreement is a license to use a specific space for a designated period and does not constitute a "bailment" (we do not take legal possession of your items).

2. User Responsibilities

  1. Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access codes or digital keys.
  2. Closing: Users must ensure the locker door is fully closed and locked before leaving the area.
  3. Prohibited Items: You may not store:
  4. Illegal substances or stolen goods.
  5. Perishable food or biological materials.
  6. Hazardous, combustible, or explosive materials.
  7. Living creatures.
  8. High-value items (e.g., jewelry, currency, or irreplaceable documents) exceeding a total value of $100.

3. Rental Period & Abandoned Property

  1. Rentals expire strictly at the time indicated during checkout.
  2. Items left in a locker for more than 24 hours past the expiration time will be considered abandoned.
  3. DS2 ACTFIT reserves the right to remove abandoned items. A recovery fee may be charged to the User to reclaim items.

4. Limitation of Liability

DS2 ACTFIT is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to items stored in the lockers. * We do not provide insurance for your belongings.

  1. The User uses the service at their own risk.
  2. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the total amount paid by the User for the specific rental period in question.

5. Access Failures & Refunds

  1. As per our Refund Policy, refunds are granted only if a technical failure prevents access to the locker.
  2. If a User forgets their PIN or loses access via their own device, a manual override fee may apply to recover the items.

6. Inspection & Security

DS2 ACTFIT reserves the right to open and inspect any locker without notice if:

  1. We have reasonable suspicion of a violation of Section 2 (Prohibited Items).
  2. Required by law enforcement or a court order.
  3. There is an emergency (e.g., a leak or fire hazard).

7. Termination of Use

We reserve the right to terminate a User’s access and ban them from future use for any violation of these terms, including vandalism or misuse of the locker hardware.

  1. Liability Limits: Check your local laws to see if there are specific "maximum liability" caps required for storage providers.
  2. Contact Info: Always include a "Support" email or phone number at the bottom of the T&C.
  3. Acceptance: Ensure this text is presented as a "Click-wrap" (the user must click "I Agree") before they can pay.
